The Sherman cat turned out to be a stray cat in search of food. He was brought to Kitty City Kansas Rescue for a chance to have a better life. At this time, the couple they had previously adopted from the rescue were looking for a partner for their lucky cat.
Chance was nine years old when her previous owner passed away. Kitty Kansas City saved him from an unknown fate, and after nearly a year in foster care, he found his forever home with the loving couple.
The little old maid with big round eyes immediately caresses her complexion. He was a hug from the start and was always looking for something to chew on. Sherman came home with the couple and brought some habits with him since he was a street cat.
For a while, the tabby boy would scavenge for food out of the trashcan whenever he got a chance. He outsmarted his humans when he figured out how to open the automatic lid. The tenacious kitty found every opportunity to sneak a snack from his parents’ dinner plates.
The playful cat soon became her father’s lovable friend. A few days after his arrival, Sherman rallied in his heart.
When they first met, the older cat took the kitten under his wing and began to take care of him. The opportunity immediately presented itself and I felt comfortable having a friend she loved. He began to relax and did not retreat to his den.
