Chilean Carabinieri Police Officer Giovanni Domchi received a call about a dog tangled in a sheet. Neighbors heard the dog screaming for help and told police that the owners were not there at the time.
No one knows exactly how this poor dog got entangled in such a way, but it was clear that she needed help right away. The policeman arrived, asked the neighbor for a knife, and jumped over the fence to help rescue the dog.
The dog was scared and hesitant at first, even biting off the policeman’s arm at one point. But Giovanni insisted and managed to free the poor girl. As soon as this happened, the dog jumped up on the policeman with his arms outstretched to hug him. What a lovely gesture of appreciation!
