Hope For Paws received a phone call about two abandoned dogs on the street. They were told that one of the dogs had a huge tumor around his stomach. They arrived at the scene to see the two friends together – they refused to leave each other. Rescuers took some time to serve food and to talk a little with them.
The dogs followed them to the Hope For Paws rescue vehicle, and there they put fortune leashes around their necks. They called the dogs Orchids and Minks. The dogs were returned to the headquarters where hundreds of fleas and ticks were removed. Then it’s finally time for a good, long nap! These two deserve it after all they’ve been through.
The Minks and Orchid are taken over by L.A. Animal Rescue, and soon after are found a forever home together! We are glad to have the two dogs together for the rest of their lives.
