Bronislaw Karowski, a Polish World War II veteran, completed his final mission by walking his granddaughter down the aisle at her wedding in Bialystok, near the Polish border with Belarus. Karowski was a well-known veteran who fought against the Nazis during World War II as part of the Polish resistance. He was also a participant in the Warsaw Uprising. Two days after walking his granddaughter down the aisle, Karowski passed away at the age of 94.
