Welcoming a child into the world is a happy and exciting experience in the life of a married couple. For Louise and Paul Addison, it was the same feeling, they were so happy to welcome a little girl.
However, little Georgina was born completely deaf and was unable to detect new sounds for the first six weeks of her life.
But at six weeks old, little Georgina was fitted with hearing aids and could hear for the first time. The camera captured this precious moment and its response stirs the hearts of millions around the world.
The video shows the beaming little girl screaming with delight when she hears voices for the first time. After being posted on social media, it quickly went viral.

Her mother, Louise, described the moment Georgina turned her head when she heard her parents’ voices.
“We’ve never seen her get into audio before and that was pretty cool,” Louise told Sky News.
For his father, Paul, 32, he says his morning routine “now fills his heart with joy”.
He added, according to LadBible, “It’s like she turns on the lights and she can hear her mother’s voice. She’s instantly thrilled and instantly happier.”
“It fills my heart with joy and you can’t put a price on things like that.
“You react every morning like it’s a whole new experience and you’ll never get old.”
After the video was posted, their parents spoke of the relief they felt from others who had shared similar experiences.
