Brady carefully climbed the boat next to the bear and Brian managed to grab the plastic tub, but the terrified bear’s struggle with the slipping wet plastic caused Brian to lose his grip on the tub.
CNN reported that Brady was able to circle the bear again and stand beside it again so Brian could make his second attempt. Both Brian and Brady showed excellent timing and skill, both in boat speed and steering and in grabbing and pulling the tub, just in time.
They couldn’t encourage the bear to come towards them, so they had to turn around and climb next to the bear twice to try and get a good grip on the container.
The three family members helped rescue a black bear cub, who was destined for a dark fate, either drowning in a plastic tub full of water or starving over time with its head stuck in the tub .
All family members were sure of their goals. They wanted to save the bear from a terrible fate, no matter how many passes it took. They wanted to keep the boat from capsizing, and they knew they had to get the bear off the boat!
