This was his last wish that he wanted to fulfill at any cost.
Pedro Villarín, 65, suffered from liver cancer and doctors were no longer able to help him. That is why he expressed his last wish – at his daughter’s wedding, he wanted to take the bride to the altar.
The family hired an ambulance and a private nurse to bring him to his daughter’s day. The ceremony was held in Manila, Philippines.
The proud father’s original plan was to accompany his daughter in a wheelchair, but unfortunately he didn’t have enough strength when the big day came. So they took him to the wedding on a stretcher instead. Relatives pushed the father with a stretcher down the aisle, while Mr. Villarin held his daughter’s hand.
Three days later, Pedro Villarren lost a battle with the disease, but at least his last wish came true.
