The Humane Society of the United States has raided a puppy farm that was keeping dogs in appalling conditions in a dark basement and filthy cages. The mill was located in Caparros County, North Carolina. The Little B.B. He is just one of 130 dogs who have known miserable lives. BB grew up over and over and when she was rescued she was visibly exhausted and traumatized.

But it was a good lucky dog day. She was about to leave this frightening past and get a second chance at life. Rescuers took her and took her outside where she had never been before. This was the first time she saw sunlight and she had to stare to adjust her eyes.

B.B. Now he is adjusting to a better life with a loving family. When I was first brought home, the exhausted dog slept for a week and a half to regain strength and clear her traumatized mind. She was skinny on her bones, but her new mom, Brenda Tortorio, helped her gain the weight she so desperately needed.

She loves to run in the park and play with all her toys. She hadn’t had a toy before, so my mom made sure to give it plenty! B.B loves being held and any other form of affection that comes with being loved. This is the life you were always meant to live.

Watch BP’s reaction when she came out of the dark and see how she is now in the video below:

She is now in the perfect forever home, and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks to the Humane Society of the United States for continuing to save the lives of unfortunate dogs.
