According to Lyla’s mother, Lauren, Lyla holds a special admiration for Gigliello’s singing voice, and they often engage in duets. Gigliello has a nightly ritual of singing Lyla to sleep. Following his heartfelt rendition in the hotel lobby, the audience erupted in cheers and applause. Completely absorbed in the music, Gigliello found himself taken aback by the overwhelming response. Recounting the experience to NBC News, he expressed his amazement, saying, “People started stopping, and at the end just hearing the applause, and I just couldn’t believe it.”

Recalling his childhood visits to Disney World with his parents, where they stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort adjacent to the Grand Floridian Resort, he shared fond memories of walking to the Grand Floridian lobby to enjoy the musical performances. Gigliello’s love for this music influenced his decision to pursue a career in classical music. The recent event not only brought back joyful childhood memories but also felt like a dream come true for him.
