Setting aside her reservations, Abrahamson made the decision to meet Kocula once more. She revealed to The Sun:

“At first, I was taken aback by his unkempt appearance. However, there was something about him that piqued my curiosity, and I felt compelled to see him again.”

During this time, Kocula had scraped together some money to purchase foot cream, hoping to alleviate any concerns Abrahamson might have had about any odors. This strategy seemed to have succeeded, as the two reunited and spent the day getting better acquainted.

Abrahamson returned to Vienna, uncertain about the future of their budding romance. However, through determination and resourcefulness, Kocula managed to make his way to Austria, where he greeted his beloved with a simple, “I’m here.”

Two years down the line, this unlikely couple found themselves walking down the aisle in a fairytale castle wedding. A couple of years after that, they joyfully welcomed twins named Desta and Til into their lives. Kocula also decided to pursue higher education and, after five years of study, achieved his goal of becoming a mechanical engineer
