Shay Bradley has passed away, leaving four children and several grandchildren. His loved ones have faced the heartbreak of life without an Irish Defense Force veteran. Shay has a reputation for being a prankster, a trait that has made him endearing to friends and family. Few knew how far he would go to prank.
His family learned how much fun Shay was when they lowered his coffin into the ground. Incredibly, Shay Bradley planned his last prank before his death. He wanted to create a post-humor stunt designed to add punch to the funeral.
Shay made a joke from the grave, literally. As the coffin was lowered into the grave, those present at the funeral could hear the bagpipes followed by the unmistakable sound of Shay’s voice. He looked confused and a bit annoyed by her comings and goings.
The recording was played by Shay, bored and angry to be in the coffin. The late grandfather’s voice even sang to those present at the funeral to pull him out of the coffin, as he shouted “Let me out” over and over.
Feverish requests to help him out of the coffin preceded him singing Hello Again, a song made famous by the legendary Neil Diamond. It didn’t take long for family members to realize that someone had put a recording inside the coffin. Once the shock passed, everyone burst out laughing. They realize that their father and grandfather played one last prank on everyone.
Shay’s daughter uploaded the video to Facebook, where she raised many eyebrows. Funerals are certainly not like other gatherings of the dead. Then again, how many people have the same unbridled sense of humor as Shay Bradley?
