A group of puppies are abandoned and left to fend for themselves in a landfill in Georgia. Fortunately, help wasn’t too far behind. Private Jordan Ennis and his K-9 Tek partner were out for a walk when they saw the three little pups curled up together in the bush.
“TFC1 Ennis in southwest Atlanta yesterday was at a known dump for stolen cars. He was driving into an abandoned apartment complex when he saw three dogs thrown into a patch of heather.
“He knew no one would come and take them, so he and K-9, Tek, took the pups to headquarters where they were all quickly adopted.”
After loading the puppies into the car, Teck stayed by their side to comfort them. Doesn’t he seem proud of his work?
“A soldier never knows what he might encounter on a shift, but a day with the puppies is a good day,” the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Facebook page continued.
