Carpool lip-sync karaoke video in support of World Down’s Syndrome Day, featuring 50 mothers and their children singing along to Christina Perry’s multi-platinum sale song, “A Thousand Years.”

All moms are part of a Facebook group known as Designer Genes created for parents of a child with Down’s syndrome born in 2013/2014. They came together to show the world how normal and enjoyable life is with illness and how they “wouldn’t change a thing”.

The video was originally inspired by Singing Hands – a UK organization whose videos have helped many group members learn Makaton to support their children’s communication development.
