Jenna helped her son build the best lemonade stand you’ll ever see. They made a solid table and he really put his heart into making it beautiful.

They even put up a handwritten sign in their front yard and grabbed bags of ice to store in her little cooler. Gina tells him not to worry about fixing the car and instead suggests that he try raising money for local charities.

Everything was going well and Jacob was making a huge difference in his small town. The whole experience was really great for him because he has a speech impediment. Gaining self-confidence, he is often trained to communicate with thirsty customers. It was a dream come true, but it was about to come to a complete stop.

A passerby went to see little Jacob, and they weren’t happy with his brilliant idea of selling lemonade. They asked the little boy if he had permission to run his small business. Jacob didn’t know what to do, but rushed inside to look for his mother. Gina spoke to the complaining neighbor and they asked her a lot of questions.

They asked what would happen if someone got sick from lemonade. The neighbor wanted to know who would be responsible for any trouble the little lemonade stand might cause.

Jenna was genuinely interested in the points they raised and immediately halted the lemonade sales that afternoon. She went online and spoke to a group of Facebook friends for any advice they might have.

City Hall was closed that evening and she was unable to contact any of the city clerks for further details. No one was able to give her a real answer as to how it all worked, and she couldn’t find any information on how to get a pass.

Jacob was saddened by the events of that day, but that didn’t stop him from doing his best to raise money for his local charities. The next morning was a miracle. Jacob came out to find all the police waiting for him!

They weren’t there to shut down his new business as the concerned neighbor expected. All the officers were stopping to show their support for Jacob, and each wanted him to make a new batch of lemonade for him to try. They lined the streets, and each of them bought an ice cold drink from Jacob’s stand.

The cops even gave him some police stickers and helped him get his own cute pass to hang on the front of his little table. Jacob is now open every day of the week, but he closes the store on Sundays out of respect for his Christian faith.
