Druzhok means “boyfriend” in Russian. Last summer, an affectionate stray dog named Druzhok showed how loyal he can be as a friend to his family. He is part of the Andreev family in the Amur region of Russia. They are compassionate pets even though they have a strong sense of freedom.
If you want to run, no chain will stop you. He will break it and run away. And when he’s had enough, he comes in and shows his neck as if to say, “Tie me up, I’m ready.”
But, this loyal dog showed his family how much he loved them when his village was submerged in the floodwaters.
When the city of Andreev was flooded, they took his dog away and went to a friend’s house.
On the third morning there, Druzhok disappeared. They went looking for him
And found him guarding their house.
Rescue workers in the area said that Druzhok wouldn’t let anyone into the house and refused to leave the front step. He was on guard duty.
When he saw his family, however, he eagerly left his post and swam toward them.
“He’s back there. He couldn’t run, he had to swim. The dog stood on the bottom step of the porch in the cold water all night.
“We sailed to the patio and saw it. He was standing there and was shaking, and he didn’t budge from his place. But when he saw us he was very happy. We got him on the boat and he rushed over to lick us. We were all so happy. “
Friends are careful with their friends, but I hope Druzhok chose to stay dry with his family rather than control the house from then on.
