Patricia Capellan was at the Jollibee restaurant in the Philippines with her boyfriend when she saw three homeless children standing outside the restaurant.
Then she saw a man who had previously bought a lot of food, which was more than enough for one person.
Seconds after the man received his orders, he called out to the homeless children standing outside the restaurant.
Afterwards, the four ate together at a table inside the restaurant.
The warm sight and selfless man’s action touched Capellan’s heart, but what I said next wasn’t even what one of the homeless children said afterwards.
After sitting down and enjoying the food, one of the children suddenly stopped eating.
Puzzled, the boy asked the man if there was something wrong with the food.
The food was good, if not the one the boy liked best, but he stopped eating so he could take some of his food back to his mother who was waiting for him at home.
The boy wanted his mother to enjoy the food too, so he only had a few bites and saved some for her.
Capellan who was recording homeless children eating at the time couldn’t help but sympathize with the boy.
Even then, the boy still thought of his mother and did not forget to share his food with her.
Capellan then posted the video to his Facebook account to share the cool things the man did to homeless children Needless to say, the video quickly went viral on Facebook and other social media platforms.
So far, the video has garnered millions of views on Facebook and thousands of people have shared their thoughts and comments on the intimate scene.
“I’m so proud of you.” One user commented while another user wrote, “God bless man and bless man for his kindness.”
It might not imply anything out of the ordinary because the guy bought the kids junk food, but one thing is for sure, the guy and the boy definitely inspired and reminded a lot of people to share with others.
