Pat searched everywhere when his dog, Blue, disappeared from their Tennessee home. More than six months later, there is still nothing. Leave the dashing man. Will he see his beloved pet again? The chances are dwindling day by day.
But about 200 days later, a video was sent to Pat (below) of a dog that looked blue at the Washington County Animal Shelter playing with a ball. His eyes lit up and he called the shelter saying, “He’s my dog!
Pat was making the 1,200 mile trip from Texas where he had to go to work to meet up with his best friends, but it was well worth it.
“We don’t have a lot of happy endings like this,” the shelter said on Facebook. “There were tears, tons of kisses and lots of smiles. What a great story! We’re so happy to have the dog we named Bones with his daddy and ready to catch up on some love.”
