After airline staff requested the man to lower his voice, he retorted, “I’m not shouting? You want me to shout?” and persisted in yelling despite efforts to calm the situation.

The incident was captured on video by a fellow passenger who was seen giggling at the situation. When informed that he was being loud in the cabin, the man responded, “So is the baby!” prompting a flight attendant to aptly remark, “You’re a man!”

The duration it took for the man to be pacified or the baby to cease crying is unclear. Upon landing at the destination in Florida, police escorted the man away from the aircraft. The specific flight where the event unfolded was not disclosed by the airline.

The video gained traction on TikTok, amassing over 215,000 views, sparking diverse reactions. Many condemned the man’s behavior, with one person suggesting, “People this irrational need to be banned for life from every airline.” Another proposed alternative travel methods for individuals intolerant of crying babies. A commenter remarked on the irony of a grown man throwing a tantrum over a crying child.

However, some empathized with the man’s frustration. One individual noted, “He said the quiet part out loud 😂,” while another acknowledged his expression of common sentiments.

One user diverted attention to the plight of flight attendants, highlighting their underappreciated role in such situations: “Flight attendants don’t make nearly enough money 🤦🏻‍♀️.”
