Betsy Redfern from Richland, Mississippi has a 12 year old Chihuahua named Cupid, and they are best friends. When she went to college, she brought a cupid with her. But she felt bad for being in class and leaving her dog home alone. It was then that she had the idea of making Cupid her own bedroom in the extra closet of their apartment.
The comfortable space will provide some comfort to Cupid during the absence of mom. This bedroom consists of a small four-poster bed and a duvet with a matching curtain above, all designed by Besti’s mother. Above the curtain is a banner with the name Cupid, and the floor is covered with a curved carpet.
The personalized colors and patterns of Cupid’s little bedroom complement his mother’s bedroom. To complete the piece, Betsy hung all of Cupid’s clothes on hangers! What a lucky and very spoiled dog.
At Christmas, Cupid had his tree decorated for even more holiday cheer! Chihuahuas love their bedroom and it gives them the perfect place to feel comfortable and secure when mom can’t be home with her.
