When the cute and shy pit bull Benny was brought to Carson Animal Care Center in Gardena, California, there was a good chance he was shot. The pup had no idea what his future held for him.
Penny was completely oblivious to the possibility of being shot, so he spent his days greeting visitors, eager to find someone to love. But week after week, Benny was sitting in his cage.
No one was interested in adopting him. Her hope was fading and sitting in that house day by day started to wear her down.
It wasn’t until a miracle day in December that the sweet pup finally received the news he had been waiting for. At first he looked confused as the worker slipped a special red bandage around his neck.
