RSPCA Woodside Animal Center employees arrived at work one morning to see a chained dog at the front door. They didn’t know how long she had been there, but the dog was certainly happy to see someone.
“She was standing with her head pushed through the bars of the door, her ears back with those big brown puppy-shaped eyes,” a spokesperson for the RSPCA’s Woodside Animal Center said in a press release.
Misty’s rib was visible, she had a skin problem and had cuts on her nose. But the workers at the shelter were happy that she was now safe and could leave this hard and neglected life behind.
They discovered that Misty was equipped with a microchip, but had been relocated several years ago. And now I’ve been thrown here out of a shelter.
Abandoning an animal, even outside a shelter, is never the solution. But Misty is on her way to a much better life. The RSPCA hopes the public can help them with their investigation.
Once the sweet girl is ready, she will be adopted. Meanwhile, Misty recovers, relaxes and enjoys this new life that you never have to be afraid to give up!
