A puppy named Gunnar was born as part of an unwanted litter. The owners could not afford to sterilize the mother, so when she gave birth to Gunnar and her siblings, they quickly worked to get rid of them all. Somehow, little Gunnar is abandoned and left to fend for itself, and no one knows how and why.
But luckily he was found by Sidewalk Specials who immediately took him to Vet Point for treatment. It had a lot of ticks and fleas and was infested with worms. Gunnar was severely anemic and needed iron injections. The staff fell in love with the puppy because they provided him with all the necessary medical attention.
They kept him happy and worked to keep him healthy so that they could adopt him once he was old enough. At this point, it didn’t take Gunnar long to find his forever home! Now watch him chase a ball in the yard with his new mom.
