Felipe Gabriel and his brother Fernando arrived on the subway in São Paulo, Brazil, when a cold, stray dog caught their eye. At that point, he decided to remove the shirt from his back and put it around the pup.
It was the coldest day of the year and he couldn’t let the dog freeze. Fernando saw his brother doing this kind act and scored. Felipe didn’t do it to get noticed, but the video ended up going viral.
Felipe deserves all the recognition he can get for his dedicated work. And it turns out that the shirt he gave him was one of his favorites! But Felipe said, “It looks better on him.”
Later the brothers crossed the station again on the return trip and searched for the dog with the intention of bringing it home. But the pup has developed by then. Felipe regrets that he can’t do more for a dog in need, but his actions alone set an example. If only there were more people like him in the world!
