Margarita Suarez was known for her compassion for all the animals she encountered. She fed the stray dogs that showed up at her door every morning and dined with her in case she bumped into a stray dog on the go. And when she passed away, something really wonderful happened.
Family members were stunned when stray dogs appeared at the funeral home.
They approached her body to honor the lady who once cared for them.
I’ve made so many friends this way, and now they’re crying over her.
The funeral staff were confused and unsure of what to do, but soon found out what was going on and decided to let the dogs stay.
“In pain, they jumped for joy,” said Margarita’s daughter, “it was wonderful.”
What an exceptional and special moment. It shows how smart dogs are and how much they value their parents. They are, after all, man’s best friend.
