After a brief moment, it takes off, returning to its natural domain.

Thanks to the courageous efforts of these officers, the hawk is unharmed and safely nestled back in its natural habitat.

Adding a touch of humor, the police department shared the incident on their Facebook page, playfully quipping, “Sorry Hudson, we won’t be so friendly to the Hawks on Thanksgiving,” alluding to their upcoming football rivalry with the Hudson Hawks. While the officers are compassionate towards most birds, their stance changes when it comes to rival mascot birds
