David Fredericksen, a professional truck driver, witnessed a horrifying incident in Biloxi, Mississippi when he saw a car traveling in the wrong direction on an interstate. He watched in horror as the car crashed into a truck and exploded in flames, all captured on his dashcam.
Despite the danger, David knew he had to help. He grabbed a small fire extinguisher and ran towards the blazing car. As he approached, he prayed that he wouldn’t have to deal with a person screaming in agony.
David initially thought that the occupants, an elderly woman and her 1-year-old granddaughter, were surely dead. But then he saw a little head pop up in the back window. Without hesitation, he tried to open the door, even as the metal began to melt.
After saying a prayer, David climbed into the back seat of the burning car and pulled the little girl to safety as the fire raged on. Thanks to David’s bravery, both the woman and her granddaughter survived the ordeal.
