The white tailed eagle died out in France over 50 years ago, and in order to celebrate this remarkable journey, Rex Features decided to use a Sony Action Cam Mini to record everything from an incredible vantage point.
The event was a collaboration with the non-profit organization FREEDOM, which aims to reintroduce the white-tailed eagle to its natural habitat in the French and Swiss Alps.
