Forging a Connection
Simultaneously with Dream’s arrival at the sanctuary, a donkey named Joe also found his way there. Affectionately named after Joe Pesci, the diminutive donkey journeyed to Sky Sanctuary from Texas.
As noted by the sanctuary on Facebook, from the instant they crossed paths, it seemed as if these two were meant to be companions.
Growing inseparable in no time, Dream started to regain her vigor, liberty, and optimism with the support of her fellow rescue, Joe. Although it took a while to rebuild her strength and return to a state of good health, eventually, Dream and Joe began doing everything in unison.
From sharing meals and grooming sessions to spirited gallops and playful antics, Dream and Joe have fostered a deep and unwavering bond
