A 12-year-old boy named Andres knew what was best for his little puppy even if it was difficult; He left the dog in a crate outside a shelter to save him from his abusive father. He made a note explaining the difficult situation.
“My name is Andres and I’m 12 years old. My mom and I decided to leave my dog in your hands, and hide it from my dad because he thinks he’s selling it. But he abuses him and kicks him. One day he kicked him so hard that he hit his tail. I hope you can help and take care of him. I left him an animal Stuffed so as not to forget me.
The pup, now named Renee, receives proper care and love from a dog rescue group called Refugio Xollin! Renee has yet to be examined by a vet to check what appears to be a broken tail. Once fully recovered, the pit bull will be offered for adoption.
What a brave and selfless thing for this little boy to do. But thanks to him, this dog will never again be neglected and abused.
