A woman was shocked to find a great horned owl silently staring into her house one day. But she soon became concerned and decided to call a local bird sanctuary. They would show up to rescue the owl, but first — a friendly meeting and conversation.
“It was so cute and it was just a foot from the door,” she told the NY Daily News.
B.E.A.K.S. bird rescue sanctuary explained that it was most likely a baby owl who’d fallen out of its nest, and its mother couldn’t find it. The baby was unable to fly and in great danger on the ground, so calling the bird sanctuary saved its life!
