It all started with a trip to the airport, where Amari Hernandez and her boyfriend were flying to Pittsburgh from St. Pete Clearwater International Airport.
The trip started off like any other, but the couple noticed something unusual was going on in their TSA line of checks. What they observed that day inspired them to do something out of the ordinary.
They noticed a man in the security line, upset that he hadn’t been allowed to bring his package with him on the plane. The man was visibly dazed, and had to get rid of his precious bag.
Heartbroken, the man continued to walk without his precious possession. Amari and her boyfriend approached the trash can and dug up what the man had been forced to leave behind. Once they retrieved him from the trash, they understood why the man was upset.
Then they decided to take the package home and post it on Facebook.
They never thought they would get such an incredible response posting the possession on social media. After the post went viral, the unthinkable happened to Amarri and her boyfriend.
