The unfortunate child is now in the care of the Department for Children and Families (DCF). Both parents were arrested and charged with child abuse. The child was found after classified information was passed to the DCF. Authorities discovered that the child was clinging to life because he was malnourished.
The official statement of arrest stated that the child was unable to move due to muscle weakness. He also suffered from extreme lethargy due to his body’s inability to maintain proper body temperature or blood sugar levels, according to CrimeOnline.
Just one night after being hooked up to the fourth hospital, the baby had already gained half a pound. The parents did not respond to police when asked why they did not follow the recipe for the special organic formula for their children.
Buskey is due in court on March 7. He is currently being held in Brevard County Jail on $77,500 bond. According to MEAWW, the Frenchmen are also being held in Brevard County Jail on $50,000 bail.
