You know that when you get lost, you can ask the police officers for help. So when the dog Chico lost his human, he realized that the best place to go was the police station. It sounds crazy, but this smart dog did just that.
He walked into the Odessa Police Department in Texas and reported his problem like the good boy he is.
Police officers welcomed this unexpected visitor in the early morning hours of February 11. The polite boy entered the station and climbed onto the table. He gently put his paws up at the reception to inform them of his problem – he “wasn’t” in their family.

Sergeant Rusty Martin was among the officers who received him. He said the dog didn’t seem sad about his lost condition at all. “We thought you wanted to apply for a K-9 job after getting rid of a Lassie-like situation,” he wrote on Facebook.
Officers said the dog received “a lot of love and attention”. “We were all excited to have him in the building,” Martin added. “We had a tennis ball and we threw it in the lobby a little bit. They all loved it.”

“It sold out as quickly as possible,” Martin said after posting about the incident on Facebook. “The owner responded the next day [to say] that he was his dog and that he had come home. He lives a mile from the station.”What a good boy (boy). Share this article if he made you smile today!
