For Matt, Dawn Bete’s husband, it was a moment he would never forget. While he was napping by the pool one day, he couldn’t have had a more relaxing time, other than the fact that a bear had just appeared out of nowhere!
The bear can be seen in the Ring Doorbell footage climbing into the pool for a drink of cold water before noticing the man and deciding to examine him. The bear walks up to Matt and slaps him on the foot to wake him up. This shocks Matt, who surprisingly takes the spooky encounter with impatience!
Dawn received a text message from her husband about what was happening, but she didn’t believe it until she saw the video! In the end, the bear didn’t want to get hurt and was probably more scared by the situation than Matt. Plus, it’s a great story to tell (and show) for years to come!
