One such moment happened earlier this year when Michael shared a photo on Instagram showing him and Dylan in Wisconsin in February.

The photo showed the father and son dressed in sleek black with Michael in a suit while Dylan opted for a more age-appropriate track jacket with jeans and trainers.

Plus, the pic revealed just how much Dylan looks like his stepmom! Blessed with his rich dark hair and matching eyebrows that similarly frame his striking eyes, as well as his smile, it’s clear that Dylan is a male version of his gorgeous mother.

Meanwhile, Kathryn also shared her own post from earlier this year, a throwback video from when Dylan was still at school, giving a speech in his class.

The clip showed how grown-up Dylan was as he delivered a powerful and moving speech. In it he describes how he struggled for some time in his personal life and with dyslexia, which he had suffered from since the age of five, at a time when his parents were going through their own difficulties, but his school life too. . Positive and helped him through this ordeal. he said:

“My early years in America were tough, my mom was working on Broadway and she was working when I was sleeping, and I fell asleep when I was awake. Also around this time, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. “

Michael’s battle with stage IV tongue cancer was widely documented in the media at the time. Dylan continued:

“At home I was alone, but at school I was far from alone. In Winward I was free. It was like a dyslexic mecca.”

Then he talked about the happiest times at home, saying:

“In 2010, everything was back to normal at home, I was finally able to see my mother again and my father was cancer free. Everything was beautiful again.”

Fortunately, his father’s cancer was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy and has since recovered, officially beating the cancer in 2011. He told French media Paris Match at the time, as reported by People magazine. :

“It’s weird, I know, but the whole time I was going through chemotherapy and radiation, it never occurred to me that I might die.”

There’s no doubt that the legendary actor found his strength in his loving wife and children, who supported him along the way.

Dylan’s speech highlights his maturity and intelligence, even when he was still a teenager. He has great role models in both his parents and he will no doubt have a great career ahead of him, whatever career he decides to pursue.
