Danny Vivereto has always had a thing for dogs. As a child, she would take them home whenever she found a stray or injured dog on the street. This love and compassion for dogs continued into adulthood, when she and her husband currently made seven rescues.

If there is a dog in dire need of it, they will take it and try to give it the best life possible. They have gradually become lifeguards over the 18.5 years who have been together and have had a lot of rescues!

A lot of different dogs with different dates live under the same roof so there is a strict schedule that everyone follows to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible and no one is left behind.

They all get along, but two dogs are “unstable”. So Danny has the group of five on one table with the other group of two on another group, and she swaps them every three hours. All dogs have the same amount of time to play, eat, snuggle and groom.

And when it’s time for naps, dogs know exactly where to go because they all have their own beds in designated rooms. Danny calls it “cake hour,” and that’s their signal. Every dog has a toddler bed that fits them perfectly!
“Jacks, Sasha and Annabelle are in one room, and Muppet is in the other with Harleen. When Tyler and Tucker fall, they each have their own room,” Danny told The Dodo.

Danny came up with the idea of buying a toddler bed for each dog, as she used to have a few queen size mattresses lying around for dogs that had a hard time climbing on couches, couches, and beds. But it was difficult to move and clean large and heavy mattresses. So I switched to small single beds instead.

With toddler beds, she can wash all the sheets at once and the quilts twice at a time. It’s also easier to sweep, vacuum and mop around lighter beds.
Living in a house with seven rescues takes a lot of work, but it’s also a lot of fun for this couple. Danny and her husband would never trade their lives for anything! h/t The DoDo
