Shane and Rachel McNally, the fortunate couple, exchanged vows in the picturesque town of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan at St. Joseph’s Church, as reported by Irish Central. Little did they know that their friends and family had a heartwarming surprise in store for them – a unique rendition of the beloved song, ‘Stand By Me.’

The couple found themselves completely taken aback when the surprise unfolded. Hannah O’Brien, a close friend of Shane and Rachel, dedicated weeks to persuading all the guests attending the wedding to join in on the special performance. Rachel’s father even participated in the secret rehearsals to be a part of this heartwarming surprise for the newlyweds.

As revealed by The Sun, Hannah was not only a dear friend but also a member of the enchanting female vocal harmonic group known as Starling Blue. With all the group members present at the ceremony, Hannah saw a golden opportunity to plan something truly extraordinary.

For the past five weeks leading up to the momentous occasion, Hannah held clandestine practice sessions where Starling Blue imparted their expertise in melodies and harmonies to the enthusiastic guests. The heartwarming video captured the magic of the surprise, as a large number of attendees stood up from their seats and melodiously sang the touching song while the couple sat in awe
