Country music superstar Kenny Chesney is postponing his 2020 Chillaxification Tour until next year, but despite the fact that he won’t be hitting the road this year, he’s still going to pay all of his employees.

In an interview with L.A. Times, Chesney opened up about his new album and how the coronavirus has caused so much uncertainty about the future.

Be that as it may, its 120 employees are still being paid.

“With the start of March and festivals starting to get canceled – I saw the Stones move stadium dates – I got very nervous because everyone is going to hire as many people as I do” , did he declare.

“I have 120 employees. Thank God I don’t have to let anyone go this year. Now if we don’t play in the next two or three years, it will really change the dynamic of my life. And I’m not going to lie – it’s expensive.”

Journalist: “What is the cost of maintaining employment?”

Chesney: “I don’t want to get into the numbers. But it’s a lot of money. A lot of money. The first shock, I looked at the numbers and I was like, Oh my God, this ” is overwhelming. And look, it’s affecting my life – I wouldn’t say it’s not, but I had to make a decision if I was going to keep my lifestyle as it was or if I was going to take care of my people. >

But it is at least an interesting moment of the interview. Kenny quietly proposed a few months ago, and you’ll never guess where he was.

“I can’t believe I’m telling you this, but I had a wedding in Florida in early March. And I don’t play weddings. But it was worth it.”

He was also not a relative or close friend

“No. Just someone really wanted me to play their daughter’s wedding.
