Justin, a young boy with a passion for music, had already made quite the name for himself by the time he was just four years old. He had mastered the Lenny Kravitz classic “Fly Away” on drums and was so good that he was invited to perform on the popular talk show, Ellen, in front of a live audience.
A year later, Justin returned to the Ellen stage to once again show off his amazing skills. And while he may be young, Justin is certainly not shy. He’s a very enthusiastic little guy who loves to joke back and forth with Ellen and be the center of attention on stage in front of a lot of strangers.
When asked what song he would be performing, Justin confidently tells the audience that he will be playing another Lenny Kravitz hit, “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” But then, with a mischievous grin, he corrects himself, saying “Or you can call it Are You Gonna Go My Wayyyyyyy” as he giggles and points to his parents in the audience.
Ellen is clearly amused by Justin’s playful personality and even offers him some water before the big performance. But when Justin takes a sip and proclaims it to be the “most disgusting thing he’s ever tasted,” Ellen looks shocked and asks him why he thinks water is disgusting. Justin, still grinning, admits that it was just a joke.
As Ellen and Justin banter back and forth, it’s clear that this young drummer has a bright future ahead of him. And with the help of his supportive parents and the encouragement of Ellen’s enthusiastic audience, Justin takes his place at his drum set and begins to drum along to the original Lenny Kravitz track playing in the background
