Eve realized something was wrong. So he started asking the couple about Vango. The couple didn’t know anything about Vango, so they couldn’t determine its price, food preferences, and even its age.
Another employee who was with Yves was also suspicious, so I went online and checked to see if anyone had reported a similar dog missing from Vango. Fortunately, this employee saw Francoeur’s message with a picture of Vango. Show this message to Eve, who saw Vango’s name. The name reminded him that he was the one who trained Vango, so he said, “Vango, come on!”
Vango was so excited that he jumped away from his captors into Eve’s safe arms. Even after that, the couple still insisted the dog was theirs. Yves showed them Francoeur’s message with a picture of Vango, so they changed their story, saying they found Vango in the woods and took him away. As their story never convinced Eve, the couple left.
Eve immediately called Francourt and, while she waited, comforted and fed her. Francoeur rushed to the store and found Vango. I thanked Eve for saving him. “Imagine if the couple hadn’t gone to Au Kingdom of Animals. I couldn’t find my dog,” Francoeur said. Francoeur filed a complaint with the police against the kidnappers, and the case is now being investigated.
