Cassandra Cabrera has been deployed overseas with the U.S. military for the past 10 months, but was finally on her way home to see the family she missed so much. But will her dog remember her? It was an idea she had in mind when she met Missy Mae.
Cassandra’s mother Ruby recorded the meeting at the airport, capturing the dog’s reaction for all to see. The whole family were obviously happy to see Cassandra again, but the dog really stole the show as she couldn’t hold back her excitement.
“She left when she was a year old, and I wasn’t sure if she would remember me after all this time,” Cabrera told Dodo. “His reaction absolutely delighted my heart.”
It’s amazing how dogs can remember their humans after such a long time. A reunion like this definitely makes the breakup and the wait worth it.
